On Tuesday 23rd February, y6 and some Y5 went on a trip to the Leeds Civic Theatre for a maths challenge.
The LCT is 150 years old, and has 467 seats. It is very large and easy to get lost in. Once, it didn’t have any toilets!
One of the challenges was to work out the perimeter and area of the stage. It was a sloping stage! There was a code breaker challenge where we had to work out how much the actors got paid.
Overall, it was an amazing experience on a great day.
